High Intensity Strength Training Equals Every One’s Fitness Foundation

Research has shown that those who participate in physical activity produce significant benefits that enhance their Quality of Life and may extend one’s life!

For our Baby Boomers and Seniors, the latest information shows that physical activity in the form of high intensity strength training improves overall health by providing:

More energy and a higher metabolism rate

Better stress reduction

Better Body weight control

A variety of specific disease prevention

Still the most understood-most neglected form of physical activity is high intensity strength training for anyone at any age but especially the baby boomers and seniors.

Proper movement against a source of resistance is the most efficient and effective form of exercise and results from a proper high intensity strength training program of only two high intensity strength training workouts per week. The actual workout time for these high intensity strength training sessions should be less than 30 minutes which means that in less than an hour a week, anyone can improve their conditioning level.

Remember to apply both common sense and logic when it comes to proper high intensity strength training exercise. Regardless of our age, everyone can and will benefit if they will be (1) consistent with their high intensity strength training workout sessions and (2) follow my www.ProperStrengthTraining.com guidelines.

The results obtained from a high intensity strength training program will allow everyone to participate in other sports and daily activities well into their later years in a much more efficient manner while reducing the potential for injury to the joints, bones, and muscles.
You have everything to gain and nothing to lose by trying high intensity strength training.
The sooner you begin your high intensity strength training program the faster you will realize your gains in strength, muscle size, agility, cardiovascular ability, bone density, energy & endurance, and flexibility.

Remember to be sure to obtain clearance from your physician prior to beginning any fitness program.
