I need to exercise more to lose weight.

There is a half truth to this statement. If you exercise, you will burn calories but don’t be misled that more exercise is necessary. By increasing the number of days you exercise, you increase your potential for injury and (2) you will reduce you immune system’s ability to recover. Therefore, it is a must to incorporate a reduced calorie diet with proper exercise. If you only exercise to lose weight, you will be disappointed and probably will lose your motivation to achieve your goals.

“Diet and exercise are in partnership with you for your entire life.”
